Product Safety & CPSC Compliance

The average lifespan of a daily use baby product is 4-6 weeks. This recommendation accounts for many factors - developmental progress, the emergence of teeth, and normal wear and tear.

For safety and hygiene, replace your baby product, such as a pacifier clip, teething ring, pacifier holder stuffed animal, or baby bib after 4-6 weeks of daily use.

Read your product packaging to ascertain whether the item you purchased is intended to be used as a Children's Toy. Do not leave your baby unattended.

Discard any baby product at the first sign of damage or weakness. If you feel as though damage present on your BooginHead product is outside the normal scope of wear and tear, please contact us info@booginhead.com so we can make it right.

It is a moral and ethical necessity for our company that we thoroughly investigate any issue or concern outside the normal scope of wear and tear damage on a BooginHead baby product. Please keep the item, contact us, and we will provide you a pre-paid shipping envelope to ship the product back to us for inspection and investigation.

Congress passed the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) in 2008. The law requires extensive third-party testing requirements on all items produced for children less than 12 years for lead, phthalates, and choking hazards. It requires permanent labeling of each item with a date and batch number.

All BooginHead products are tested, extensively, for CPSC/CPSIA compliance, and meet all CPSIA requirements.

We take these requirements seriously. Please contact info@booginhead.com for more information on a specific product.
