BooginHead Reinvents Itself in Puget Sound Business Journal

Way back, waaaay way back, approximately ten thousand years ago to January 2020, our fearless leader Sari Davidson was named an Innovator of the Year by our local Puget Sound Business Journal. We enjoyed a delightful ceremony in February:

Where we snacked on cheese platters and celebrated the innovative accomplishments of local Washington state business leaders in every industry from shipping to manufacturing to cancer research to water purification:

Well! This ongoing conversation with Puget Sound Business Journal for the Innovator of the Year awards began as a discussion about our SippiGrip Silicone which, at the time, was our newest innovation. An updated, upgraded remake of Sari's first ever product, the SippiGrip, SippiGrip Silicone is made right here in the USA by a woman-owned factory and we were so jazzed to tell PSBJ all about it at the Innovator of the Year Awards.

AND THEN.

March 2020. Coronavirus shuts everything down "for a few weeks."

AND THEN.

April 2020, when we launched our brand new BooginHead Masks, made of repurposed, upcycled fabric overage from our best-selling cotton bandana teether bibs. And they were, to put it succinctly, an absolute hit.

See? Here they are!

So check out Sari's Innovator of the Year feature in Puget Sound Business Journal and reminisce with us to a time not so long ago when we got to gather for award ceremonies and share mustard spoons in the MoPOP

Sigh. Good times.

Thanks, PSBJ! Always and honor!
